Sheree

‘It’s been 2 weeks and Anthony still won’t talk to me. I call him and he sends me to voicemail, he won’t even answer the phone. To be honest I don’t blame him if I was him I wouldn’t talk to me either. I don’t know what happened to me I look in the mirror and I don’t even see the same woman. I don’t see a woman at all; all I see is a thief, a liar, and a cheat. I see a woman who couldn’t see that she had a good thing all along, but was just blind to see it. I tell you one thing that saying is true; “you don’t miss the water until the well runs dry.” My well was dryer than the damn Sahara.’ I thought to myself.

My phone began to ring so I picked it up to see who it was. The call was coming from an unknown caller. But something said to pick it up anyway.

“Hello?” I answered.

“BITCH DON’T GET COMFORTABLE, YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK BITCH!!!” a woman yelled.

“Who is this?” I asked, “What the fuck do you want from me?”

“I WANT YOU DEAD BITCH!” The woman said before hanging up.

‘Now what the fuck was that about?’ I thought to myself.

I was so stunned that I really didn’t know what to do. I wanted to call Anthony again, but what good would that do if he wasn’t taking my phone call. I was starting to feel nervous and was trying to figure out who in the hell would want me dead. I started to get paranoid and I didn’t like it. Something in me told me to give Anthony one more try, so I picked up my cell phone and dialed his number. Surprisingly he picked up on the first ring.

“What do you want Sheree, why in the hell do you keep calling me?”

I was silent for a minute and then I said, “Look I know that you are furious with me and that I am the last person that you want to talk to, but I got a phone call from an unknown female telling me that she wanted me dead. I’m scared and I don’t know what to do.”

“Oh really were you fucking around with someone else’s husband too?” He said sarcastically.

“No, I thought that I could call you for help because despite what we have going on right now I know that you still love me. I know that you don’t want to see anything happen to me.”

“Humph, is that what you think. Sheree is your head really that far up your ass?”

Before I could respond he hung up the phone in my face. I felt broken and who could I blame. Anthony hated me and it was the worst feeling that I had ever had in my life. What was I going to do?
